The video clip for single “Export Import” by Tosca, details the surrealistic on-goings of a nondescript alien being in costume via a horse-head. Shot entirely in black and white, weird things happening in peculiar places defines these surrealistic moments at a random turnpike hotel building. Giving the 7-minute video, directed by Park SeungJin, a strong mid 1980’s Jim Jarmusch nod.
Tosca, the twenty year collaboration between Rupert Huber and Richard Dorfmeister, are pleased with the Lee Scratch Perry meets Ennio Morricone soundtrack texture of the release “Going, Going, Going” out now on K7! Records.
“It just feels good to come back to our original sound, “said Rupert Huber in a press release statement. “After experimenting with song structures and vocal collaborations on the last album (2014’s “Outta Here”), we were looking at how we could make a logical progression and we realized that our real strength lay in TOSCA’s roots, we just have to update that sound into something that made sense in 2017.”
